Someone asked you to verify with Chekkd.

You choose whether to respond. Open the original request to see who is asking and what accepting will share.

You’ll sign in before sharing verification. No app download is required.

A request you can understand before you accept.

Chekkd helps people ask for and share identity checks before everyday interactions. The request tells you who is asking and includes the context they added.

First, review the request

Check who sent it, the item or reason they mentioned, and what accepting would share. The sender’s photo is not shown on a public request link.

Then, choose whether to respond

Sign in to complete any required checks or reuse your active verification. Accept only when you’re comfortable sharing. You can decline or leave and return later.

Know exactly what is shared

Accepting shares your profile name, your photo if you added one, completed verifications, and your public Passport link if it is enabled. Your public Passport has separate visibility settings.

About your card trade

“Before we meet to trade, would you share your completed identity checks?”

  • Review who is asking and why.
  • See what accepting will share.
  • Continue in your browser.
Illustrative request, not a live invitation. Initials are used here because sender photos stay off public request links.

Identity checks, with clear limits.

What a request may ask for

  • Email: the address you sign in with.
  • Identity: phone, photo ID and liveness checks through Plaid.
  • Connected accounts: social and optional bank connections are account-control signals.

What stays out of the result

  • Your ID images aren’t shown to the person asking.
  • Bank balances and financial details stay private.
  • Chekkd does not hold your payment, verify an item or guarantee an exchange.

Always check the original request. You decide whether to share. A bank connection is not proof of identity, available funds or creditworthiness.

You can take your time.

A request is a choice. A completed check is information you can review.

Already verified?

You can reuse an active, completed identity verification. The original date stays visible. If a required check is missing or no longer active, follow the guidance in the request.

Prefer to decline?

You can decline. The sender sees the request status, but it does not become a public review. You don’t have to send a message here.

Not sure the link is genuine?

Check the destination carefully before signing in. Chekkd uses chekkd.com and app.chekkd.com. Don’t provide passwords, identity documents or payment details in your marketplace chat. If anything looks wrong, contact support before continuing.

Continue from the message you received.

Open the original Chekkd link in that conversation to review and respond. This guide doesn’t accept invitation codes or collect verification details.
